Rotes Kreuz

The red sandstone cross on Kreuzplatz is a symbol of Rotkreuz’s old village centre. It replaced an earlier red wooden cross in 1891. The municipality’s history panel explains the connections between the square, local inns and the later place name, providing context for a short village-walk stop.
